Our Executive Management team brings together experienced bankers from large and smaller organizations all with the common desire of wanting to create the best banking experience for our clients and employees while making a significant contribution to our community.

David W. Pijor Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

David is the founding force and lead organizer of FVCbank. His leadership accounts for one of the fastest initial capitalization raises in the history of Virginia banks. Prior to FVCbank's inception in 2007, he was the lead organizer of James Monroe Bank. Along with its President and serving as its Chairman of the Board and General Counsel, he guided the meteoric growth of that organization over an 8 year period. The initial shareholders enjoyed a 10 times return in their assets over that span. David was a practicing attorney in Fairfax, Virginia with over 30 years experience in business law and transactions with an emphasis on taxation.

He's a graduate of the University of Michigan, earning a B.A. (with honors) and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown Law.

Patricia A. Ferrick President & Chief Financial Officer

Before coming to FVCbank in 2007, Patricia was Chief Financial Officer for Potomac Bank of Virginia since 2005, taking it through its sale to Sandy Spring Bank. She also had been CFO for Southern Financial Bank until its sale to Provident Bank and then Senior Vice President for Provident for the year following the merger. She began her career as a CPA working as a bank auditor for KPMG and then a comptroller for various community banks, among them NVR Savings, First Commonwealth (both acquired), and National Cooperative Bank. Patricia's management skills in the particularly challenging area of mergers and acquisitions have made her an invaluable member of our team and we count on the expertise that she has earned.

She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Tech and has been a licensed CPA since 1989.

B. Todd Dempsey Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Todd has established our bank's lending and credit policies for start-up organizations, a key factor in the growth of the FVCbank's significant loan portfolio, all the while maintaining a high level of asset quality through the recent flat economy. A banker with 34 years of experience, he was Senior Vice President for United Bank of Vienna Virginia where he re-organized and supervised the business-lending group. Before that, he held several vice president positions with various banks such as The Business Bank, Meritor, and Heritage Bank going back to the mid-1980s. Todd is active in many community service organizations, and coaches baseball, basketball and soccer.

He holds a B.S. from George Mason University, and is a graduate of the University of Virginia's Virginia Banker's School of Bank Management.
