UPDATE: March 25, 2020
Message from Patricia A. Ferrick, President
Our main priority here at FVCbank is the safety and security of our staff, clients, and community. As deemed appropriate by our Executive and Administrative team we have been taking appropriate action to minimize our exposure to COVID-19 as well as protecting the overall health of ourselves and those around us.
Effective Thursday, March 26th, 2020 most of our branches and offices will be closed for the safety and concern of our customers and staff. In order to service our patrons we will still make available the four branches that feature drive-thru assistance. We do this in hopes of restricting person-to-person interactions and visits inside our branches and offices unless absolutely necessary.
The following features will be available throughout all locations and are recommended:
-
- ATMs – our ATMs remain one of the most efficient ways to perform a series of financial transactions. We assure all our customers regardless of whether or not your specific branch is open during the pandemic, we will carry out all ATM transactions at the nearest drive-thru branch three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
-
- Night Depository – our night depository is a service that is present at all of our branch locations (with the exception of Ashburn) and gives businesses and/or individual customers the ability to deposit cash and/or checks outside of regular business hours. This is done through a special deposit chute that is present on the outside of the branch. As we navigate through this pandemic we will keep all of our night deposits functioning throughout all of our locations. These deposits will be retrieved and carried out three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
-
- Online Banking – our online banking and mobile deposit services still remain one of the best ways you can manage your finances from the safety of your own home. This includes checking balances, viewing transaction history, depositing checks, transferring money, paying bills, and more
The following features will be available throughout the four locations listed below:
-
- Drive-Thru Services – the lobby of all our branches and offices will be closed to protect the safety and well-being of our customers and staff however we will keep the drive-thru open for four of our branches. These locations include our:

UPDATE: March 16, 2020
FVCbank remains concerned about the health and wellbeing of our community and believes it is the proper time to institute additional procedures to help stem the tide on Coronavirus transmission. Effective today, all Branches and Offices of FVCbank will:
- Remain available for customer service
- Maintain open access to the Bank’s drive through lanes, night depositories and ATMs
- Restrict physical person-to-person visits inside our facilities to only those situations requiring an in-person meeting
We strongly believe that by taking these measures now, FVCbank will be doing its part to slow down transmission of the virus and remain available to take care of your banking needs during the Pandemic. Please contact any of our Branches or Offices for additional information, assistance or to schedule in-person meetings.
To stay informed, please continue to check out our web site posts (www.fvcbank.com) and we will provide updates to our customers through our online banking and e-mail notification platforms.
March 13, 2020 Release
FVCbank has been actively monitoring the coronavirus outbreak and has instituted our Pandemic Plan to protect the welfare of our employees and maintain the confidence of our customers. We have activated our enterprise wide response team and are prepared to take appropriate actions as the outbreak progresses.
All FVCbank employees have been engaged to reduce the possibility of transmission by enhancing cleaning protocols, instituting social interaction restrictions and requiring sheltering at home when either the employee or their family member exhibits symptoms. The Bank maintains redundant operating and backup systems supported by reliable vendors and tested on a regular basis. Our employees are cross trained and staffing levels can be maintained internally or remotely depending upon the active community response.
We highly recommend all customers take advantage of our online and digital banking tools as well as our ATM and drive through facilities. We’re happy to assist by providing additional access services to you such as direct deposit, bill pay and free ATM access.
No one knows exactly what the impact or the time line of the coronavirus outbreak will be. We just want you to know FVCbank is well positioned to weather the event with you. As the outbreak evolves, we will post updates on our Web Site (www.fvcbank.com) and message our customers through our online banking and e-mail notification platforms.
